EXTERNAL EVALUATION HAS BEEN STARTED WITH THE OBJECTIVE OF ENSURING THAT THE CHILDREN OF THE STATE GET 100% ACHIEVEMENT IN READING, COUNTING AND WRITING IN GOVERNMENT PRIMARY SCHOOLS. INTENSIVE THERAPEUTIC PROGRAMS HAVE BEEN IMPLEMENTED FROM 1ST FEBRUARY TO ACHIEVE 100% ACHIEVEMENT IN READING, COUNTING, AND WRITING. PHASED MIDTERM ASSESSMENT OF THE PROGRAM HAS ALSO BEEN SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED ACROSS THE STATE. THE REMEDIAL EDUCATION WORK WAS DONE IN MOST SCHOOLS IN STD. 3 TO 5, WITH GOOD RESULTS FROM THE WRITING WRITING AND COUNTING THERAPEUTIC EDUCATION PROGRAM IN CLASSES 6 TO 8 UNDER THE CHIEF MINISTER'S GUIDANCE. SUBSEQUENTLY, THE GOVERNMENT OF GUJARAT SHOULD GET THE STUDENT GUJARATI READING, WRITING AND MATHEMATICS SIMPLE NUMERICAL SUMS AT THE END OF STANDARD 2 AND IF THIS IS LEARNED, THEN IT WILL BE EASIER TO LEARN THE CONCEPTS OF DIFFERENT SUBJECTS IN THE NEXT STANDARD. THE PURPOSE OF THIS TEST WAS NOT TO MEASURE OR GRADE THE ACHIEVEMENT OF THE CHILDREN BUT TO KNOW WHAT THE CHILD HAS DIFFICULTY LEARNING AND THEN TO PROVIDE REMEDIAL EDUCATION AS PER THE STUDENT'S NEED. IT IS WORTH MENTIONING THAT SUCH A PROGRAM OF DIAGNOSTIC TEST AND THERAPEUTIC EDUCATION FOR THE STUDENTS OF STANDARD 1 IS BEING ORGANIZED FOR THE FIRST TIME ACROSS THE COUNTRY. THE DIAGNOSTIC TESTS THAT WERE TAKEN FOR STUDENTS OF CLASS I FROM THE STATE LEVEL INCLUDED SUCH THINGS AS VOCABULARY, PHRASING, READING COMPREHENSION, PLUS DICTATION AND FREE WRITING. SIMILARLY, MATHEMATICS INVOLVED THINGS LIKE NUMBER RECOGNITION, SMALL NUMBERS, PARENTHESES, LOCATION VALUES, ADDITION, SUBTRACTION, PRACTICAL PUZZLES OF VERBAL MATH, ETC. QUESTIONNAIRE DATA ENTRY OF ALL THE STUDENTS WAS DONE AFTER THE TEST OF APPROXIMATELY 1.5 LAKH STUDENTS FROM ALL THE SCHOOLS IN THE STATE. BASED ON THIS DATA, A PERSONAL REPORT CARD OF EACH STUDENT WILL BE PREPARED AND GIVEN TO THE TEACHERS, SO THAT THE TEACHERS CAN PERFORM CERTAIN TYPES OF REMEDIAL WORK AS PER THE STUDENT'S ABILITY. ANALYZING THE CURRENT PRIMARY DATA, IT IS FOUND THAT UP TO 5 PERCENT OF STUDENTS IN STANDARD 1 CAN READ SIMPLE SENTENCES. THE GOVERNMENT'S NAME IS TO FOCUS ON THE REMAINING 8 PERCENT OF THE STUDENTS AND TEACH THEM TO READ. SO THAT IN THE 3RD STANDARD, THEIR FOUNDATION IS STRENGTHENED.
