KGBV BHARATI JAHERAT 2019

The plan has been applicable since its inception in 2004, in the backward educational clusters (EBBs) where the female literacy rate is lower than the national average (46.13%: 2001 census) and the gender gap in literacy is more than the national average (21.59) %: 2001 census). Among these blocks, schools may be established in areas

  •  The concentration of tribal populations, with low female literacy rate and/or a large number of out-of-school girls;
  •  The concentration of SC, OBC, and minorities, with low female literacy and/or a large number of out-of-school girls;
  • Areas with low female literacy;
  •  Areas with a large number of scattered small habitats that do not qualify for school

The Qualified Block Criteria have been amended from 1 April 2008 to include:

  •  An additional 316 educationally backward items with a female literacy rate of less than 30 percent;
  •  94 towns/cities with a minority concentration (as defined by the Ministry of Minority Affairs) with a lower female literacy rate than the national average (53.67%: 2001 census)

KGBV girls have learned self-defense exercises such as judo karate, Lathi Lazim, tirandaji and won the medal at the town level, state-level and state-level competition in different games like Kabbadi, Kho-Kho, long jump and swimming too.
Every monthly visit takes place at the bank, railway stations, the library and the city of science to increase their knowledge and what is the procedure followed by the different organizations. During this visit, I told many girls that "I have never seen a word outside my village!"
The girls are under vocational training and participate in the "Achilles Bhartya Hastakala Pradershan" organized by Index-C. They introduced the items, put up the sale and started a step towards an independent businessman for future exposure in handicrafts.
A documentary film of 25 minutes. On the KGBV scheme from the preparation of "Prasar Bharti Doordarshan" and will be broadcast by the end of January 2012
Establishment of residential schools where there are at least 50 girls from SC, ST and minority communities available for primary school education. The number can be more than 50 depending on the number of qualified girls. Three possible models have been identified for such a school, and the revised financial standards are set out in Annexes I, B and C. The revised financial criteria will be accepted into the new KGBV approved as of April 1, 2008. The revised grant will only be accepted in the current 2180 KGBVs approved as of March 2007 as of April 1, 2008.
